Nambi's Prince Prize winning play, STOKELY, has been selected to be part of the inaugural season of new Artistic Director Ian Belknap at New York Stage and Film, directed by The Acting Company's Artistic Director, Kent Gash. July 25, 2025, 7 PM.
Nambi is in development with Tony Award winner, Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Broadway producer Ken Davenport, and the songwriter team of Emily Phillips and Future Cut to pen the book for a new Broadway musical, TBA.
Nambi is in development with Cinema Gypsy, production company of Laurence Fishburne, to pen a new musical aimed for Broadway about the Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta, Georgia, TBA.
Nambi's production company, First Woman LLC, just completed the second national tour of her new musical for family audiences, HERO: THE BOY FROM TROY, A NEW MUSICAL ABOUT YOUNG JOHN LEWIS. The musical will be published soon by Dramatics Publishing, tba.
The inaugural project of First Woman LLC, the international award winning film and stage play, JABARI DREAMS OF FREEDOM, was recently published by TRW and received a production at The Black Rep in St. Louis.
