SYNOPSIS:
He is Caucasian. She is African-American. They fall in love. But times become hard
when She discovers she is pregnant. He decides to go to his mother, White Mama
to ask for help, but instead White Mama calls the Ku Klux Klan. Meanwhile, He’s
best friend, Mandingo, and She’s best friend Catalina, are both having identity crisis’ of their own. Mandingo is a black man trapped in a gay white man’s body, and Catalina is dark-skinned black woman
who attempts to pass for white. After much deliberation, She attempts to abort
the pregnancy but is thwarted when she goes into labor prematurely. What will
White Mama do when she is faced with the reality that her grandchild may die? HE SHE AND MY WHITE MAMA traces the story of
these characters and their search for their own identities and ultimate truths in a world where hate destroys even the most
delicate of lives.
